I currently have a Nokia 6102 (Cingular). I like the features of the phone: color display, IR so I can upload my own pics and ringtones, good battery, ok camera, very customizable. The problem is, I cannot HEAR anyone when they talk! I have the phone turned up to max volume and if I don’t have it positioned just right on my ear, I can’t hear half of what someone says. I’m really not interested in an earpiece, I don’t care about bluetooth (one more thing for me to lose), I would just like a phone that I can talk on. Does anyone have a suggestion as to the best phone you can actually hear on that has some of, or all of the above features? I don’t need or want anything extravagant, just something that works.

jr_9950 asked: I haven’t been able to keep up with all of the latest phones recently.
I would prefer the best method of web browsing on the largest screen which does so, and ability to run software, games and etc. Also to act as an internet tether.
I would like purchase the best phone I can currently buy on the market for these things.

I am moving to Germany in a few months. Should I cancel my verizon contract? Do they offer international plans that are designed for residence and not travel? What kind of international plans can I get on European phones? I think I will end up using email and phone cards for my US correspondence, but I would like to listen to any other information/advice.

I have a Nextel i870 which cost $300.00 but now I want another Nextel phone which also cost $300.00. My current Nextel is sctratched up a little and has moments when it doesn’t act right but for the most part it’s still a good phone. I want to trade in my current phone to get the new phone but I’m not sure on how you trade it in or if it’s possible to do that. I heard from somewhere that you can trade your old fone in to get a new different phone and just pay the rest. Like if you had a phone that cost $250 and you now want a phone that cost $300, all you have to do is pay the $50 difference. Is that true?Does any one know if you can/can’t and if you can, what do you have to do?

ryan_schrader2001 asked: I have a Audiovox CDM-8910 cell phone I bought just 3 weeks ago. It keeps switching between digital mode and analog mode. Several hours ago it switched to analog mode, and I can’t figure out how to switch it back to digital mode, and the instruction manual says nothing about how to do it?
Can anybody tell me what I have to do to switch my cell phone back into digital mode?

I have discovered that some things i use my cell phone for like Internet, games, and music drain my battery much faster then if its just used to make phone calls. Sometimes I need to charge it a couple times a day!! and others just every 2 days! Whats your average and what do you do with your phone?

At our house we have a number of telephones. The other day after it rained we started having problems with our phones. In the background there is a humming sound that makes it difficult to hear. I was wondering if anyone could explain what kinds of things would cause a humming sound. It is there with every phone that we use, no matter were it is plugged in. Thanks you for your help.

I currently have a motorola V557 that shuts itself off and freezes up. I need a phone to make calls with and store phone numbers and addresses. Big buttons would be nice. Big numbers in the display would be nice as I normally need bifocals to read. Can anyone help?

simpleeSARAH asked: I recently just got a new phone. I switched the SIM cards out hoping that all of my text from my previous phone would still be on there. To my surprise, they weren’t! But there were text on there from another phone I had a while ago. Is there a way to copy the text from my previous phone to my current one? Both phones do have a SD Card if that helps. The previous phone is a T-Mobile SDA and my current phone is T-Mobiles The Shadow.
Thanks!
